Privacy Policy

What we collect. When you buy, Stripe processes your payment and shares your email and name with us so we can deliver your files. When you join the email list, we store your email address with our email provider. This website doesn't require an account.

What we don't collect. Your tax data stays in your spreadsheet, on your device or your own cloud storage. OzTaxReturn workbooks send nothing back to us — there are no macros, trackers or connections in the files.

How we use your information. To deliver purchases, provide support, send the emails you signed up for (like rate-change notices), and meet our legal obligations. We don't sell personal information.

Analytics & session recording. We use PostHog to understand how visitors use the site, including anonymised analytics and session recordings of on-page activity (clicks and navigation). Text you type into fields is masked in recordings, and this never includes the tax figures you enter into a workbook — those stay in your spreadsheet and never reach us. We use this only to improve the site.

Third parties. Stripe (payments), PostHog (analytics), our email delivery provider, and our hosting provider (Vercel). Each has its own privacy policy. Some providers store data outside Australia.

Your choices. Unsubscribe links are in every marketing email. To access, correct or delete your data, email us and we'll action it within 30 days.
